Libertines reforming for festivals

The Libertines are reforming to headline the Reading and Leeds Festivals.

The cult British indie group – fronted by Carl Barat and Pete Doherty - have signed up to headline the festivals in August this summer, but sources close to them say the band, which also includes John Hassall and Gary Powell, could make their reunion permanent if the show goes well.
