Gallagher to play first gig since Oasis split

Noel Gallagher will take to the Royal Albert Hall stage this evening in his first performance since Oasis split.

It is all in support of the Teenage Cancer Trust which he has supported for many years.

He will be accompanied by former Stone Roses bassist Mani and orchestral group Wired Strings.

The guitarist has performed solo shows for the charity before.

He quit Oasis last year after a falling out with his brother Liam.
