Casting begins for major TV series to be shot in Ireland

New television series 'Camelot' will begin shooting here in June.

Casting is underway for the 10-episode series, which will premiere in early 2011.

The series is described as a contemporary retelling of the Arthurian legend and is led by Oscar-winning producer Graham King and "The Tudors" masterminds Morgan O'Sullivan and Michael Hirst.

Filming will mostly take place in Ardmore Studios in Co Wicklow.
