No regrets for Burton after UK move

American director Tim Burton – who lives in London with his long-term partner Helena Bonham Carter, and their two children, Billy, six, and Nell, two – left his native California 10 years ago and insists he doesn’t miss life Stateside at all.

Burton said: “When I came to England during the 80s to shoot ‘Batman‘ I already felt at home. That was a weird feeling, because it was the first time I felt at home somewhere. I probably lived here in a previous life already. Anyway, I’m happy, I’ve been living here for quite a few years now.”
