Cole set for $2.2m pay-out for US 'X Factor' role

Cheryl Cole is set to be offered $2.2m (€1.6m) to judge the US ‘X Factor’.

The Girls Aloud beauty – who has been on the judging panel of the British show for two series – is being lined up by music mogul Simon Cowell to join him for the upcoming overseas version of the reality singing competition.
