Evanescence set for change of musical direction

Evanescence are heading in a synth-pop direction, it has been revealed.

The group is working on their third album - a follow up to their 2006 album ‘The Open Door’ - and singer and pianist Amy Lee said the sound of the album will more away from their established rock and classically-influenced sound.
