Neeson underused as 'Chloe' falls short

Director: Atom Egoyan

Cast: Liam Neeson, Julianne Moore, Max Thieriot, Amanda Seyfried

Cert: 16

Sometimes it’s best to leave things alone, as Catherine (Moore) discovers when she suspects her husband (Neeson) of cheating and hires a hooker (Seyfried) to lure him into an affair and report back on all the sordid and erotic details … all of which leads, naturally, to tragedy.

There are plenty of plot twists in this multi-layered sexy thriller and excellent playing from Moore and Seyfried, who become increasingly closer as the story progresses.

There is not much real character development however, and Neeson is merely there to act as a buffer between the female leads.

Star Rating: 3/5
