'Fatal Attraction' pair reunite on TV

Michael Douglas and Glenn Close have been reunited 22 years after 'Fatal Attraction'.

The pair featured in an Oprah Winfrey Oscar special discussing the movie, in which Close's character Alex Forrest famously murders Douglas' alter-ego Dan Gallagher's pet rabbit, a scene that led to the term "bunny boiler".

Douglas told Close: "You were so good in the part everybody wanted you to be killed. They literally wanted somebody to put their hands around your neck.

"With you Glennie it was such a treat and a joy and made this whole experience such a pleasure.

"To sit here 22 years later and look back at what we accomplished and still be able to call you a friend, it means a lot."

Discussing the infamous scene in which she boils the pet rabbit, Close admits she had to get drunk before she could act the scene.

She said: "I thought it was over the top. I asked for a pitcher of margaritas and I drank about half of it."

'Fatal Attraction' was nominated for six Oscars at the 1988 Academy Awards, but failed to pick up any prizes.
