Law meets his newest child

The ‘Sherlock Holmes’ actor Jude Law visited his newest child five-month-old Sophia - whose mother is American model Samantha Burke, who Jude briefly had a relationship with - with lawyer Maurice Kutner in Florida last week.

A source said: “Jude was very on edge about the meeting. The pregnancy wasn’t planned but he wants to do the right thing.

“It’s not like he can hide – as soon as Sophia can use the internet she can find out who her dad is.”

The 37-year-old star - who also has three children Rafferty, 13, Iris, nine, and Rudy, seven, with ex-wife Sadie Frost – and Samantha are believed to have made agreements on how Jude will support Sophia during a meeting on Saturday including maintenance payments.

Samantha has been staying in the plush Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Miami, while Jude has stayed in a different residence.

She became pregnant following a night Jude shared with Samantha after they met in a nightclub in New York while he was filming ‘Sherlock Holmes’ in December 2008.

The actor is now dating ex-fiancee Sienna Miller, who he split from in November 2006 following allegations of an affair with his children’s former nanny Daisy Wright.
