Daly ‘forgives Kay for text messages’

Tess Daly has reportedly forgiven husband Vernon Kay for swapping risqué text messages.

Earlier this month, 'Family Fortunes' presenter Kay admitted to exchanging sexy messages with 23-year-old glamour model Rhian Sugden, although there was never a physical relationship between the two.

However, 'Strictly Come Dancing' presenter Tess now wants to forgive and forget, and move forward by presenting a television programme with her 35-year-old husband.

According to the Mirror, Tess told a friend: "I've forgiven Vernon but he'd better not do this ever again."

A source close to Tess added: "She's realised he is the love of her life, and she wants to end the speculation about their marriage."

The 40-year-old mother-of-two now hopes the pair can present a television programme together as a follow up to 2007's 'Just the Two of Us'.

A television insider added: "The BBC want him to present a new show with Tess, Channel 4 are also interested in him to host another chat show and Sky 1 are throwing money at him.

"But his family life is going to come before his work for a while. He'll do whatever Tess wants him to do."
