Actress Ronan among the winners at IFTA awards
A touch of Hollywood came to Dublin last night at the Irish Film and Television Awards last night.
'The Eclipse' was named Best Film in the annual film industry award show.
The ceremony in Dublin also saw Aidan Quinn pick up the award for Film Actor in a Supporting Role.
Colin Farrell and Dervla Kirwan won the Film Actor in a Lead Role and Film Actress in a Supporting Role awards for their performances in Neil Jordan's āOndineā.
Another of the big winners of the night included Meryl Streep, who picked up the Best International Actress accolade for her role in āIt's Complicatedā.
Jim Sheridan won the Director Film Award for Brothers, and actress Saoirse Ronan won the Film Actress in a Lead Role for āThe Lovely Bonesā.
