Geri Halliwell wants to star in 'Gavin and Stacey'.
The Spice Girls singer was completely starstruck when she met the comedy show's writer and actor James Cordon - who plays lovable Essex-boy Smithy in the programme - and begged him to write a part for her in the comedy if he ever produces a new series.
After meeting him at a BRITs after-party on Tuesday, she gushed: "I just wanted to say that 'Gavin and Stacey' is one of my favourite shows ever.
"Wow, it's so great to meet you. If you ever make any more, call me and I'll be on it."
But rather than being impressed with the offer, James was apparently baffled by her remarks.
According to The Independent newspaper, he giggled: "Did that really happen? Geri Halliwell just asked to meet me? She seems a bit bonkers!"
'Gavin and Stacey' was co-written by comedienne-and-actress Ruth Jones, and also starred Joanna Page and actor Mathew Horne.
It ran for three series and the season finale aired last month.
