Rowling: Plagiarism claims 'absurd'

J.K. Rowling has said claims she plagiarised another British author for her Harry Potter series are "absurd".

Rowling has been named in a on-going lawsuit alleging she stole ideas from a "Willy the Wizard" book, by the late Adrian Jacobs.

Rowling insists she had never heard of Jacobs, let alone read his book.
