Wood 'helping girlfriend record album'
Ronnie Wood is reportedly helping to record an album with Katia Ivanova.
The Rolling Stones guitarist reunited with Katia – who originally split with him after a series of drunken rows last December – last week, and is reportedly already planning to help her launch a recording career.
A source said: “Katia is an ambitious girl and she and Ronnie have discussed her going into music.
“Ronnie knows the business better than most and there’s talk of him writing some material for her.
“Ronnie’s at his happiest making music. If that also involves Katia, all the better for him.”
21-year-old Katia – who has variously described herself as either a model or an artist in the past – has limited experience with music, and it is not known if she can sing or play any instruments.
Ronnie’s career as a musician, however, is chequered.
He was an integral member of Rod Stewart’s group The Faces and, since 1976, has played guitar with the Rolling Stones and has co-written hits with the group including ‘Dance’, ‘Black Limousine’ and ‘One Hit (to the Body)’.
