Nadine Coyle is holding up Girls Aloud from reuniting for a new album - because she is launching her solo career in the US.

Bandmate Kimberley Walsh is presently trying to get the group – which also includes Cheryl Cole, Sarah Harding and Nicola Roberts – back together to start work on a new, more mature LP, but Nadine is in Los Angeles working on her own music.
