Breffmeister in cameo role as zombie killer in online show

‘The Apprentice’ star Breffny Morgan stars in a new online RTÉ show — horror series ‘Zombie Bashers’.

The Corkman, better known as the Breifmeister, has a role in the online series which launched on the RTÉ Storyland website in January.

The series, produced by Ruth Treacy of Tailored Films, follows the life and times of two former plumbers who travel the country killing ‘the walking dead’ for a nominal fee.

The Breffmeister plays a cameo role trying to sell ‘zombie gone’ spray, which he declares will solve all your zombie problems.

Breffny said: “It’s great to be involved in ‘Zombie Bashers’.

Since ‘The Apprentice’ concluded I have missed the buzz of being in front of the camera, and the interaction with the producers behind it.

“I was also keen to sign up to be zombified!

“The highlight of the production was definitely the make-up, I felt like Arnold in ‘The Terminator’ with all the effort put into disfiguring my face.

“I would love to work with Tailored Films again!”.

‘Zombie Bashers’, episode 1, went live on January 29 and will run until February 15 as part of an online competition. Viewers can vote for the show at www.rte.ie/storyland until February12.
