Ellison gives birth to baby boy

Jennifer Ellison has given birth to a baby boy.

The former ‘Brookside’ actress and her husband Rob Tickle were said to be “delighted” following the safe arrival of their first child together, Bobby, on Thursday evening.

The tot was born at 9.50pm and weighed a healthy 9lb.

The blonde actress had hoped to have a water birth without any pain relieving medication and previously admitted she didn’t want to know the tot’s sex.

Jennifer and Rob married last October in a secret ceremony in Mauritius.

They originally planned to wed in August, but were forced to postpone their marriage plans because of their hectic work schedules.

However, when the 26-year-old beauty learned she was expecting a few weeks later, she and her boxer spouse decided to bring forward their union and tie the knot before the baby’s arrival.

Although this is new mum Jennifer’s first baby, it is Rob’s third child. He has eight-year-old twin daughters, Chloe and Sophie from a previous relationship.
