Schoolchildren have named X Factor judge Cheryl Cole their ideal teacher, ahead of Stephen Fry, a poll found today.

Girls Aloud star Cole, who left school without taking GCSEs, was the top choice, with former Doctor Who actor David Tennant in second place.
