Moss daughter, 7, eyes career as designer
Kate Moss' seven-year-old daughter wants to design her own range of handbags.
The supermodel - who already creates clothes for British high street store Topshop and has her own fragrances - recently launched a collection of bags for luxury label Longchamp and admits young Lila is keen to follow in her footsteps.
Talking about her range, Kate told the International Herald Tribune newspaper: "As a woman with a lot of handbags, they have got to have a bit of flair, not too 'Lady', with a bit of an edge. Lila's got her ideas too - she's got really good taste. She wants to do her own collection!"
Despite her success in the fashion world, Kate - whose collection zebra print totes, shoulder bags and slouchy styles in colourful leather - has no plans to design footwear in the near future.
She said: "Not shoes, I'll leave that to the professional craftsmen. But if I did, I wouldn't do a sneaker - I would do a ballet pump. I bought sneakers thinking they would be good for working out in Ibiza, and I looked down and thought: 'That's not my foot!' "
Meanwhile, it has been revealed Kate has donated a Chanel bag to an online auction to help raise money for Haiti.
The 36-year-old beauty was keen to give to the cause, which is organised by youth charity Ctrl.Alt.Shift and is hoping to raise lots of cash to help those in the earthquake-stricken Caribbean nation.
A host of celebs have teamed up with Ctrl.Alt.Shift to launch the online auction at http://www.ctrlaltshift.co.uk/article/ctrlaltshift-haiti-auction.
People will be able to bid for a range of unique prizes; a Le 30 bag in red patent leather by Dior, £1,000 (€1,143) worth of designer clothing by Cassette Playa, VIP tickets to the Lovebox weekend, signed David Guetta and JLS albums and more.
