Hot Chip hint at Glasto slot
Hot Chip have hinted they will be playing Glastonbury Festival.
The âReady For The Floorâ hitmakers, who are set to release their fourth album âOne Life Standâ on February 1, suggested that they may be âin the Somerset areaâ at the time of the festival.
Singer Alexis Taylor told BBC Newsbeat: âYouâll potentially see us in the Somerset area of the UK around the end of June Iâd imagine.
âI have been to that part of the world and enjoyed being there. Nice cider there, good music and good atmosphere.â
This yearâs Glastonbury Festival will see it celebrate its 40th birthday, and as such a number of big names have been linked to it.
Festival organiser Emily Eavis has so far confirmed that U2 will be performing, as will London-born Dizzee Rascal.
It has also been hinted that âYour Gameâ singer Will Young will perform.
However, US punk rockers Green Day and the Rolling Stones will not be playing.
Tickets to the festival, which takes place from June 23 to 27, have sold out.
