New tour plans for Melua

Katie Melua has announced a new tour.

The 'Nine Million Bicycles' star will perform 13 dates in the UK as part of the European tour.

Her UK dates kick off at Manchester Apollo on December 4 this year and conclude at Bristol’s Colston Hall on December 21.

There are no plans confirmed as yet for any dates in Ireland.

The tour is to promote Katie’s as-yet-untitled fourth album, which will be released in May.

Katie, 25, teamed up with songwriters Guy Chambers, best known for his work with Robbie Williams, and Rick Nowels, and producer William Orbit, for the album.

Tickets for the concerts will be available from January 22.
