'EastEnders' actress quit because of lesbian storyline

Natalie Cassidy has revealed one of the reasons she quit 'EastEnders' was because of her character’s lesbian affair.

The 26-year-old actress left the soap in 2007, after playing Sonia Jackson since she was 10 years old, but told Reveal magazine she was uncomfortable with the lesbian affair her character had with her nursing colleague Naomi.
