Burton eyes another fairytale twist

Tim Burton is looking to re-interpret Disney animated classic ‘Sleeping Beauty’ into a new story.

The US director would like to put a twist on the fairytale - about a sleeping princess rescued and awoken by a handsome prince – by telling it from the perspective of the 1958 film’s villain, Malificent.
