Perry denies pregnancy rumours

Katy Perry has revealed she is not pregnant.

The ‘I Kissed A Girl’ singer was rumoured to be expecting fiancé Russell Brand’s baby but insists the rumours are not true.

She told one of her followers on social networking site Twitter: “ur gonna make me cry...Better luck next month peepz.”

Katy – who got engaged to Brand on New Year’s Eve following a whirlwind four-month romance – sparked rumours she was pregnant with her first child after she was seen looking at baby clothes in Hampstead, London.

A source said: "Russell and Katy had a wander around Hampstead. They visited children's shoe shop Cubs and had a lot of fun checking out all the little booties.”

Katy, 25, further fuelled the rumours by posting several cryptic messages on her Twitter page.

She wrote to Brand: "I heard ur prego-ed."

She then messaged gossip blogger Perez Hilton, saying: "Boy do I have storrrrries!"
