Westbrook eyes 'EastEnders' return

Danniella Westbrook has claimed there is “room” for her character to return to 'EastEnders'.

Last year the actress signed up for a three-month stint playing Sam Mitchell, which was later extended to five months.

Speaking at the 'Dancing On Ice' press launch, she said: “I can’t reveal the way she leaves so I can’t say how soon she’ll be back – but she’s there to come back.”

“As long as there’s the Mitchell family there’s room for Mitchells to come back.

“I love it ('EastEnders'). I miss working there. I miss the people.”
