Kym Marsh has hinted she is set to enter the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house.

The ‘Coronation Street’ actress let slip on her twitter page she is to take part in the series – which starts on Sunday – and the show’s producers are reportedly furious as they wanted to keep the line-up a secret.

She tweeted: “Finished Corrie for a couple of weeks, now off to get myself a ‘reality’ check.”

But moments later she was forced to take the post down and then wrote: “Just been told off! Feel like I had been sent to the headmaster’s office!”

However, she continued to hint she would be taking part, telling her followers: “I’m not doing anything on New Year’s Eve as I cannot risk having a hangover. I have a busy couple of days after!

“Let’s just say 2010 is going to be a BIG year right from the start.”

If the mother-of-two does enter the house she won’t be joined by Russell Grant after the stargazer turned down a £250,000 appearance fee.

The 58-year-old astrologer was warned by doctors that entering the house could trigger a fatal allergic reaction as he suffers from asthma and has an allergy to air-conditioning.

He said: “I told them I couldn’t do it because I was allergic to air-conditioning. They said they’d build me a Wendy house. Talk about carry on camping! I’d freeze to death in there in January.”

Other celebrities rumoured to be entering the house include Pamela Anderson, Stephanie Beacham, MC Hammer, Dane Bowers and Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood's ex-girlfriend Ekaterina Ivanova.
