Beacham signs up for 'Big Brother'

Former 'Dynasty' actress Stephanie Beacham has reportedly signed up for 'Celebrity Big Brother'.

The British actress is said to have been offered £250,000 (€278,000) to appear on the Channel 4 reality TV show, which starts on Sunday.

Footballer-turned-hardman actor Vinnie Jones and astrologer Russell Grant are also deciding whether they will accept similar offers to enter the house.

Grant is said to be weighing up whether to appear on 'Celebrity Big Brother' or ITV cooking show 'Marco Pierre White's Kitchen Burnout'; though producers have told him he has to decide by today.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "He will literally make his mind up on the deadline."

Meanwhile the final series of 'Celebrity Big Brother' - hosted by Davina McCall - to be screened on Channel 4 is said to be the most gruelling yet, with its 'Hell Lies In Others' theme.

Among challenges said to be lined up for the stars of the show are handling a tarantula, being forced to strip and drinking vile cocktails. Those who can't stomach the tasks will find themselves nominated for eviction.

A source said: "We're going to have some extra live shows fitted into the TV schedules where Davina McCall will call up the house and unveil a shocker for them - a live task. To fail could lead to a series of forfeits including losing all your clothes or even facing eviction."

Other stars rumoured to be appearing on the show include rapper MC Hammer, former 'Baywatch' actress Pamela Anderson, ex-'EastEnders' star Brooke Kinsella and Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood's ex-girlfriend Ekaterina Ivanova.
