Big Brother boost for charity Comic Relief

Comic Relief will benefit from the final series of Celebrity Big Brother, it was announced today.

Channel 4 is to donate a portion of the proceeds from viewers’ votes to the charity.

The seventh series, which has been given the tagline “hell lies in others” will begin on January 3.

Calls to the vote line will cost 50p, with 15p going to Comic Relief.

It is the last series of Celebrity Big Brother to be broadcast on Channel 4.
