Hollywood actress Brittany Murphy has died aged 32, a Los Angeles hospital spokesman said.

Murphy died at 10.04am local time today, said Sally Stewart, a spokeswoman for the Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles. She would not provide a cause of death, or any other information.
