Kidman to spend Christmas in Oz
Nicole Kidman wants to spend Christmas in Australia because the weather is so great.
The Hollywood actress – who was born in Hawaii but grew up in Sydney – can’t wait to fly Down Under with her husband Keith Urban and their 17-month-old daughter Sunday Rose because she prefers to celebrate the festive season in a warm climate.
She said: “I like a hot Christmas – in both the weather and the meal. I’ll spend it with my family, I’m not interested in material things. I want good food, good family and good health.”
The 42-year-old actress – who also has two adopted children Isabella, 17, and Connor, 14, from her marriage to Tom Cruise – has a permanent home in Sydney and always reunites with her family at Christmas time.
Country singer Keith recently admitted he is looking forward to spending time with his loved-ones over the festive period.
He wants a traditional family celebration so Sunday can play with her cousins.
He said: "We'll be able to spend it with all of our extended family on Nicole's side and my side, so we're really looking forward to that.
"My sister-in-law on Nicole's side has four children and my brother has two, so there'll be lots of kids running around."
