Wogan granted Freedom of the City of London

Irish broadcaster Terry Wogan confessed that he felt “crazed with power” after receiving the Freedom of the City of London today.

The broadcasting legend received the honour and was given the opportunity to raise and lower Tower Bridge to mark his final week on Radio 2 after five decades of broadcasting.
