Russian reveals all about Rolling Stone Ronnie romance

Ekaterina Ivanova has branded Ronnie Wood an “evil goblin”.

The 20-year-old Russian waitress – whose turbulent relationship with the Rolling Stones rocker ended last week – has blasted the 62-year-old guitarist’s immature behaviour and blamed his reliance on alcohol for wrecking their romance.

Ekaterina insists their 16-month relationship started to turn sour after they moved into a rented “fairytale” turreted castle.

She said: “The whole thing started off like a fairytale. Then it felt like an evil fairytale. When Ronnie and I moved into a tower my friends were laughing and saying I was like the princess trapped in the tower. I’d be trapped there with an evil goblin king.

“He was like a child with tantrums when he was drunk, throwing water bottles and doing impressions of my voice.

“It was like trying to keep a child under control. In the end I was so unimpressed by everything. I found it very fake.”

Ekaterina insists she was the one who grew out of their relationship by the time they split, even though it was Ronnie – who was still married to his wife of 23 years, Jo, when he eloped to Ireland with Ekaterina in July 2008 – who called time on the romance.

She added to Hello! Magazine: “I grew out of him, I just thought, ‘What’s the point of being with an older man if he acts about 12?’ I thought, ‘What a pathetic person.’

“I felt dead inside. My friends said by the end I’d look like a zombie - really pale.”
