Shakin' Stevens on assault charge

Shakin' Stevens has been in court on assault charges.

The singer - appearing under his real name, Michael Barrett - is accused of common assault and a charge of criminal damage.

The charges concern the alleged assault of a freelance photographer in December last year.

The 61-year-old appeared at Ballymena Magistrates Court.
