Nothing new in 'Jennifer’s Body'

A rock band ritual goes wrong and sexy, popular cheerleader Jennifer (played by sexy Fox) turns into a blood-thirsty vampire getting her fangs into fellow male students in this so-so comedy horror.

Her less popular, nerdy friend Needy (Seyfried) sets out to rescue both the lady and what males she hasn’t yet dined out on.

There’s really nothing new in the film, though Fox turns in a terrific performance as the girl you love to hate, and it’s all the more disappointing to learn that it was written by Diablo Cody of Oscar-winning Juno fame.
