Doherty's manager charged after hit-and-run

The manager of rock star Pete Doherty was today charged in connection with a hit-and-run crash, police said.

Andrew Boyd (aged 42) of London, is accused of a number of offences relating to the incident in Hadleigh, Suffolk, on September 27 which left a man in a critical condition, a police spokeswoman said.
