Rihanna set to break silence on Brown beating

Rihanna looks set to break her silence over the beating by then-boyfriend Chris Brown that left her heavily bruised and bleeding.

The 21-year-old singer is due to sit down for a chat with Diana Sawyer on ABC’s 'Good Morning America'.

The interview, to be aired on Thursday, will represent the first time the r n' b star has opened up about the attack.

Brown was later convicted for repeatedly punching the Umbrella singer around the head during an incident that occurred shortly before the pair were due to perform at the Grammys.
