Alexandra Burke is set to launch her career in the US with help from Whitney Houston’s mentor.

The British singer was left “shocked” when Clive Davis – the music mogul who helped pop stars Leona Lewis, Kelly Clarkson and Whitney rise to fame – praised her musical talent and promised to help her become a success Stateside.
