Blanchett movie put on hold

A Hollywood movie which was set to lift the lid on the final days of Britain's colonial rule of India, starring Cate Blanchett, is reported to have been put on hold.

Blanchett was cast as Edna Mountbatten, wife of Lord Mountbatten, who was the last viceroy of the British Indian Empire and oversaw the country's transition to independence in 1947.
