Polanski loses appeal

Jailed film director Roman Polanski suffered another setback in his fight against extradition today when a Swiss court refused him bail for fear he would flee the country.

The Federal Criminal Court rejected offers by Polanski's legal team to ensure that he stayed in Switzerland.
