Robbie trails 'X Factor' winner in chart battle

Robbie Williams’ new album title has proved to be slightly prophetic as he finds his new single trailing in a UK chart battle with an 'X Factor' winner.

Williams, whose new album is titled 'Reality Killed The Video Star', is behind Alexandra Burke in the race for this week’s number one.

Both acts kicked off their chart campaigns with appearances on 'The X Factor' at the weekend.

Burke’s track 'Bad Boys', which features Flo Rida, has sold about double the copies of Williams’ comeback 'Bodies'.

Burke’s version of 'Hallelujah' – released on the back of her reality show win - became the best-selling single of 2008.
