Coxon: No second Blur reunion on the cards

Graham Coxon insists Blur will not work together again.

The guitarist quashed recent speculation that the Britpop legends - who played a string of concerts this summer, including a headline slot at the Glastonbury festival – will perform live or record as a group as they are too busy with their individual ventures.

He told NME.com: "We're in touch and we say 'Wotcha' and all that but nothing has been mentioned about any more shows or anything else.

"Everyone's slipped back into what they do when the Blur creature isn't heaving around. Law and cheese and music, I suppose."

Away from Blur, Graham has a successful solo career – with plans for a new UK tour next month – singer Damon Albarn is busy with his animated group Gorillaz, bassist Alex James lives on a farm and produces cheese and drummer Dave Rowntree is training to be a solicitor.
