Baby news for Corrie actor

'Coronation Street' actor John Thomson and his wife Sam are expecting a baby.

The couple have conceived naturally following three unsuccessful IVF attempts - Sam is three-months pregnant.

Thomson, 40, plays children's entertainer Jesse Chadwick in the ITV1 soap.

A spokeswoman for the former 'Fast Show' funnyman said: "The Thomson family are overjoyed."

The couple already have a six-year-old daughter, Olivia.
