‘Coronation Street’ has cut the scene of Rosie Webster stripping as producers think it’s inappropriate for the show’s younger viewers.

The Weatherfield vixen, played by Helen Flanagan, appears in the street in high heels, stockings and suspenders and basque after taking her coat off in a bid to win back ex-lover Luke Strong (Craig Kelly) from Michelle Connor (Kym Marsh).

However, the scenes will only be screened in full on the ITV website while the soap will show the edited version which shows Rosie strolling down the street and stops as she begins to undress.

A show insider said: “In the online film she throws off her coat to reveal a sexy basque, stockings and suspenders to try to entice factory boss Luke Strong away from Michelle Connor.

“When she sees the couple canoodling on the balcony outside his flat she hurls insults at them before throwing off her coat to reveal her outfit.”

Helen, 19, has previously said of her racy alter-ego: “Rosie is outrageous and such a madam and I love playing her. I get to do things that I would never dare do.”
