No plot but plenty of action in ‘Surrogates’

This futuristic yarn is set in a world where robotic clones stand in for humans when the going

gets tough and the latter don’t fancy putting themselves in danger.

Enter Special Agent Willis, a cop who must step out of his comfort zone to investigate the

mysterious murder of the said Surrogates.

It’s exactly the sort of fan-pleasing guff Willis does with ease: plenty of action, suspend

any thoughts about finding a plot that makes sense and go with the flow.
