It’s time, surely, to blow the whistle on the endless stream of mindless films about football hooligans, time to show the red card to anybody with a story of terrace yobs.

In this unoriginal reworking of a 1980s TV drama about the fans of West Ham and Millwall – led by Dom (McNab) and Bex (Anderson) coming together to cause mayhem at the European Championships we are offered nothing new or insightful about the thugs on show.

It’s very, very old hat and not even the acting uplifts a tired script in this dismal scoreless shambles.
