Gallaghers told to 'go solo'

Chart star Ian Brown, who was the inspiration for Oasis to launch a career in music, offered his advice to each of the squabbling Gallagher brothers today: “Go solo.”

Brown, whose years as frontman with the Stone Roses gave Noel and Liam the push to perform, said it was a sad end to the band to see the pair fighting publicly.
