Ireland wins World Karaoke Championships

Ireland has won the World Karaoke Championships.

Adrian Kenny, 30, from Mayfield in Cork, beat off stiff competition at the finals in Finland last night.

The IT consultant came first out of more than 30 countries to claim the title.

Jennifer Ward from Clondalkin in Dublin also represented the country in the women's category and came in fourth.
