'Hollyoaks' actor was 'too nervous to meet Lily Allen'

'Hollyoaks' star Andrew Moss admits he was too scared to meet Lily Allen.

The heartthrob actor - who plays Rhys Ashworth in the Channel 4 soap - could have been introduced to the 'Not Fair' singer at this year's Glastonbury festival but says he was overcome with nerves.

He said: "One of her mates at the festival came up to me and said, 'Come and meet Lily, she loves 'Hollyoaks'. But I couldn't. I was too shy."

But Andrew is desperate to meet her and wants Lily - who recently made a guest appearance in Australian soap 'Neighbours' - to make a cameo in 'Hollyoaks'.

He told the Press Association: "I'm going to batter Lily Allen when I see her, because she said she loves 'Hollyoaks' but she's gone and done 'Neighbours'!"

"I don't see why she shouldn't. We've had other people. We had McFly last time. Maybe she wouldn't follow in the footsteps of McFly."
