Revellers file home from Electric Picnic
The sun came out to greet the assembled masses leaving Electric Picnic today, preventing the kind of problems faced by people arriving at the boutique festival on Friday.
With the car park terrain now relatively mud-free, traffic was moving at a relatively good rate out of Stradbally, Co Laois.
Despite this year being the first Electric Picnic where revellers had to adjust to walking in mud for all three days, there was relatively little rain over the weekend itself, despite some downbeat weather forecasts.
Disco legends Chic emerged as one of the highlights of the three-day event, even receiving a football-style 'ole ole' chant from the enthralled masses watching them in the Electric Arena on Saturday night.
