Frantic ‘Shorts’ a great family adventure

A young boy in need of friends, a school bully, flying saucers, tiny aliens, crocodiles, scheming adults, a town losing its soul, a magical stone … it’s all happening in this busy, not to say frantic, movie for the kiddies.

Maybe a bit too much happening but most of it – told in five linking stories – exciting and gripping.

The boy (Bennett) finds the Wishing Rock, recently fallen from the sky, and discovers its powers to grant his desires … and to send the greedy adults into fits of the vapours when they find out what it can do for them, unless the youngsters save them from themselves.

The clutch of stories hangs together well and produce a madcap adventure that the young audience will appreciate.
